SCORE
July
SCORE, in the month of August, launched a survey, ARC: Assessing Research Competencies in medical students. Based on the Basic Research Competencies Framework, it aimed to assess the base level of research knowledge, aptitude and skill-set in an Indian medical student. The objective was to identify the areas where the students need to be capacitated with the required skills to expedite the dynamic advocacy process in research. It was conducted via Google Forms over a time period of 2 months. The participants were thus inculcated with the required aptitude towards research related activities. The goal was to expedite the dynamic advocacy process in research and promote research collaborations with the use of the Survey report and to identify the lacking domains of research competence in medical undergraduates, and target those domains to make future REAs for the term 2022-23

We hope everyone who reads it gets a glimpse of the exhilarating experience that an exchange truly is and are inspired to apply for going on an exchange themselves! So,one can follow @msaindiaexchanges on Instagram and keep an eye on your feed every Thursday to know about the experiences of your fellow medical students who’ve been to various countries all around the globe on a research exchange and maybe one day you might find yourself on an exchange, in another country!
