






MSAI-India is India’s first and largest internationally represented medical students’ organization, comprising over 20,000 medical students across the country. It is a non-government organization of, for and by medical students of India registered in New Delhi under the Societies Act in 2014.
As an organisation, MSAI strives to provide its members with numerous opportunities to become global health leaders of today and tomorrow. Ever since its inception, MSAI has spread its wings to the farthest corners of the country and continues to do so even today. We span over 26 states and 5 union territories in India, as of today and have touched the lives of over 2,10,000 people in communities in India through our on-going activities!

With this online activity we aim to raise awareness about the Queer community especially the Transgender individuals among medical students, address the discrimination they face, barriers they face in accessing healthcare and how to be inclusive healthcare providers.

The Activity is a collaboration between SCOME and SCORA and aims to make Medical and Paramedical students aware about the importance of Detailed Sexual history taking

To empower medical students and to equip them with the accurate information regarding different contraceptives by busting the common myths surrounding contraception. The online campaign was conducted in the form of interactive Whatsapp group discussions focusing on disseminating information, debunking myths, allaying fears and eradicating discrimination and stigma surrounding contraception.

An initiative by MSAI-UNESCO Bioethics Unit to to create empathetic, ethical and overall better equipped healthcare professionals, laying the foundation of an improved healthcare system.

Violence against doctors is not a new phenomenon. However, since the declaration of COVID-19 pandemic by WHO, reports of doctors facing violence are making headlines around the world. Through this activity, we aim to generate awareness among the non medical fraternity about this pressing issue and create a harmonious healthcare system where both patients and medical professionals receive the utmost quality of services and care

An online webinar on importance of research in a student s life and a brief introduction to research methodology followed by paper presentation by our motivated members.

This activity aims to raise awareness about Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights among adolescents on the occasion of SRHR awareness day (12th February). SRHR is a combination of 4 very distinct yet intersecting fields that we work on - Sexual Health, Reproductive Health, Sexual Rights and Reproductive Rights. MSAI was in Kerala! MSAI attended AFPICON Kerala on the 18th and 19th of January this year. The engagement was a fruitful one, with discussions to engage more medical students in family medicine and primary care.

MSAI organized multiple workshops in ‘The City Beautiful: Chandigarh’ on 31st January 2020. We conducted the following workshops, designed and implemented by internationally certified trainers: 1. Human Rights for Medical Practitioners ( HRMP ) workshop 2. Introduction to Bioethics and Medical Ethics (Bioethics 101 ) 3. Soft Skills , Leadership and Management ( SLAM ) workshop
