Description | Human Rights for Medical Practitioners is conducted with the aim of empowering and motivating medical students to actively promote and protect human rights and peace through advocacy, capacity building, creating awareness, and by supporting the students in carrying out activities and projects that contribute to creating a fair and peaceful world. We hoped to create leaders able to make just and right decisions in clinical settings as well as society as future medical practitioners. We also hoped to sensitize students about refugees and the obstacles faced by them on a daily basis, so as to better understand our role as healthcare professionals. Description | We conducted a workshop on ‘Ethics in Exchange’ at the RGMC on March 2nd ,2020.This workshop aimed at the fundamentals of bioethics and its use when a student is on their exchange.To ensure that it is delivered well,we even played games to make it interesting and fun! The students shared their anecdotes on their favourite destinations and could very well connect with the topic.Our target audience were 15 people in total and we got a positive response at the end of the session. |
